The research opposing a "one size fits all" treatment approach has increased the variety of Substance Use Disorder programs. The new range of treatment options and recovery paths is a positive development within the field of addictions; however, there exist potential challenges associated with integrating different treatment approaches. This webinar will discuss these challenges, and will review how the shift towards the utilization of evidenced-based practices has led to a "buffet-style" of treatment.

Meet the Presenter
Dr. Mark Zissman is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified alcohol and drug counselor. He has been working for Gateway Foundation for five years, and he currently functions as the outpatient supervisor and lead clinician at the Lake Villa and Gurnee locations. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, and both his Masters in Counseling and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois.
