With a passion for education, Gateway Foundation Lake Villa Outreach Coordinator Staci Allan channels her talents to enlighten communities
about alcohol and drug abuse, prevention and substance abuse treatment. Since many who suffer from substance abuse are unaware a problem exists, Staci provides
organizations with answers about substance abuse and resources to help individuals understand when alcohol or drug use is an issue.
"I really enjoy working with the public sector, community leaders and area business to raise awareness of emerging drugs as well as the
usual suspects—alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and, a particular problem here in Illinois, heroin," says Staci. "Being in a position to share vital information that can
potentially save lives is very rewarding."
Staci earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Kansas. In her free time, Staci devotes her time to her family, cooking and volunteerism.
