2. Who will I be working with?

Initially, you and the person you are treating will work with a clinical professional who will provide a free screening and confidential substance abuse assessment to determine the nature and extent of the abuse. After the initial assessment, we then create an individualized drug rehab and alcohol treatment plan dedicated to your client’s recovery.

At Gateway Alcohol and Drug Rehab, we have conveniently located rehabilitation centers in Chicago, throughout the state of Illinois, and near St. Louis, more than 500 employees including a team of qualified experts including physicians, psychologists, nurses and certified substance abuse counselors. 3. Do I get progress reports? What about letters or other documentation?

While the person you referred is in our care, with their written consent, we provide formal, written reports and any other information, letters or documentation, you or your organization requires regarding the drug rehab and alcohol treatment process in line with federal and state confidentiality regulations.

4. What happens first?

At Gateway Alcohol and Drug Rehab, we offer a free, confidential screening process to assess the extent of the individual’s substance abuse and what it is doing to their life. We offer After Work/After School outpatient treatment and residential services customized to the needs of the individual.

5. How long does drug rehab and alcohol rehab last?

The duration of drug rehab and alcohol treatment is dependent on the extent of the person's substance abuse problem and their dedication to substance abuse recovery. Outpatient can initially be three to four times per week for two to four weeks and then step down to one night per week. Should a residential rehab program be necessary, two to four weeks is typical.

6. What happens once they've concluded drug rehab or alcohol rehab?

At Gateway Alcohol and Drug Rehab, we are dedicated to each client's lasting recovery. We encourage weekly follow-up, substance abuse aftercare sessions and participation in self-help such as Alcoholics Anonymous, another 12-Step Program or other types of substance abuse recovery support.
