Meet the Trainer
With more than 24 years of industry know-how including counseling clients and supervising programs, Carl Scroggins is responsible for leading Gateway's life-saving opioid overdose prevention initiatives at treatment centers located throughout Illinois. During his tenure at Gateway, he has masterminded numerous trainings to enhance the knowledge of Gateway's clinical professionals on a variety of topics, such as co-occurring disorders, enhancing counseling skills and teamwork development. He holds an AAS degree in Mental Health: Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counseling from Harold Washington College in Chicago.
