Kerry Henry, BA, CADC
Executive Director, Springfield
As Executive Director of Gateway's Springfield Treatment Center, Kerry Henry has seen much professional growth in her 17 years with the organization; not only in her own life, but in the lives of those she helps.
"Attending graduation ceremonies for our Outpatient Programs allows me to see first hand how our work and services transform the lives of our clients and their families. Many graduates speak about the changes that are happening in their lives, and they believe that Gateway and the staff saved their lives."
Kerry finds Gateway very dynamic and describes it as "a progressive and changing organization that tends to always stay one step ahead of the industry." Kerry provides day-to-day and executive management of the Springfield Treatment Center. She enjoys coaching and mentoring her staff of 90 and witnessing their professional growth. "Gateway is unique because we not only have the ability to impact our client's lives directly, but also the ability to be a part of a great organization that genuinely cares about those suffering from drugs and alcohol."
Kerry earned her BA in Psychology from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and is CADC certified. Away from Gateway, Kerry enjoys gardening, barbecuing, spending time with her children and attending their sporting events.
