Separate Residential Programs for Men and Women
Gateway's Lake Villa Treatment Center offers separate comprehensive Residential Programs to address the specific recovery needs of each gender.
Residential Treatment Programs for Young Men
Through our vast experience, we recognize that young men ages 18-23 need their own specialized approach to assist them with substance abuse treatment and the challenging transition into adulthood. To address their unique circumstances and challenges, our Lake Villa Treatment Center offers a Residential Young Men's Bridge Program to help young men gain important life skills while simultaneously addressing alcohol or drug abuse.

Short-Term Residential Rehabilitation
Our specialized program lasts from 3-to-5 weeks and provides male adolescents a structured live-in experience for substance abuse treatment while staying current with schoolwork. With a shorter length of stay, the treatment experience is intensified and accelerated.
Short-Term Residential Treatment takes a more aggressive approach to discharge planning, beginning on the first day of services. This includes an Aftercare plan that incorporates enhanced therapy and structure once the individual transitions out of Residential care. Individuals benefit from more one-on-one counseling as well as psychiatric and psychological services tailored to his or her needs.
On-Campus Academics
Gateway's Lake Villa Treatment Center offers inclusive on-campus high school programs for adolescents through Antioch High School. With a student to teacher ratio of 5:1 at Gateway Lake Villa, nearly all individuals gain credits and improve academically during their substance abuse treatment.
Involving the Entire Family in Treatment
Gateway Foundation recognizes the immediate and long-term benefits to individuals in recovery when their families are involved in treatment, and engages families in counseling and substance abuse education programs. Family Programs are part of our integrated treatment programs and are designed to answer the questions families have and to help parents, spouses, siblings and significant others learn how to better cope with the substance abuse issues of loved ones in treatment.
Gateway Lake Villa also offers families the opportunity to participate in the recovery of their loved one via online family video counseling.
Insurance Welcomed
Gateway's Lake Villa Treatment Center accepts health insurance and provides assistance to find out what is covered by insurance benefits for substance abuse treatment as well as deductibles and co-pays.
