With more than 33 years at Gateway, Donald Bushnell personifies Gateway's commitment to lasting recovery. "We have grown from only a few locations many years ago to becoming the largest provider of substance abuse treatment in the state of Illinois. Over the years and throughout our expansion we have maintained our integrity and the highest ethical standards."
Don relishes being part of a highly effective and ethical management team. On a daily basis Don feels he is true to the Gateway mission and goals by offering the highest quality treatment programs and services. He also strives to continually enhance and improve substance abuse treatment options that offer lasting recovery to those who need it most.
Don received a BA in Substance Abuse Treatment and Management from Northeastern Illinois University and holds his CRADC. In his free time, Don and his wife are avid high school football fans who enjoy following the local youth teams.
