Serving the St. Louis Metro East area, Gateway's Caseyville Treatment Center is easily accessible via two major interstates (Interstate 64 and Interstate 255).

Offering both adult men and women intensive substance abuse treatment programs in a secluded rural setting the center features an array of healthy activities, including a gym with weight room, outdoor basketball and sand volleyball.

Meet the Caseyville Staff

Michael Feaman Michael Feaman
Executive Director
Gateway Caseyville

As Executive Director, Michael Feaman leads the staff and clinical team at Gateway's St. Louis Metro East Treatment Centers. Michael works hard to ensure adults, adolescents and their families who come to Gateway receive the most innovative treatment options and exceptional customer service.

Michael joined Gateway in 1992 and has since managed programs in both outpatient and residential settings.

"After many years in the field, the most rewarding part of my job is effecting positive change in individuals who have tough hurdles to overcome. Seeing how families work together to help their loved ones overcome dependency issues is quite remarkable," says Michael.

Michael holds his Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, MO. He is CRADC and MISA II certified through Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association.

Jo Hughes, MS, LCPC, CADC
Admissions Counselor
Gateway Caseyville

Jo Hughes arrived at Gateway Caseyville in 1985, and she continues to find each work day special because she feels challenged every day to be a better person and to bring that out in others.

"It's very rewarding to see the changes people are able to make in a relatively short period of time," says Jo.

As an Admissions Counselor, Jo is one of the first people individuals meet when they arrive for substance abuse treatment. She guides them through the admissions process, conducts thorough assessments and then works with a multi-disciplinary team of experts to determine the level of care to implement customized substance abuse treatment plans.

Jo received her Master's degree in Counseling from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL.
