4. How long does drug rehab or alcohol rehab last?

The duration of drug rehab and alcohol treatment is dependent on the severity of a person’s substance abuse problem and their dedication to recovery. Should a residential program be necessary, two to four weeks is typical. After Work/After School outpatient treatment can initially be three to four times a week and then step down to one night per week.
